    前半の突進するリズムのわかり易さと後半の悲愴なプログレ感覚のギャップに◎。前作を更におし進めた大傑作。後半は低音ピアノとシンセ反復、奥深さの中に琴の音色を入れ、間の取り方も見事、落下して行くようなサックスの響き。イーノとロバート・フリップをゲストに迎えボウイならではのプログレを作り上げた。

    英雄夢語り・・・微妙な邦題で販売されてたＬＰの頃から愛聴しています。９０年頃のサウンド＆ビジョンツアーがＮＨＫで放送されましたが、ヒーローズではおじさん達が盛り上がっていました。美女と野獣、ライオンのジョー、英雄夢語り、ブラックアウト・・・。緊張感のある音。イーノ、フリップ＆ボウイの名盤です。必聴！

    Station to Station　〜　Low 〜　Heroes　ボウイのピークともいえる３部作。この作品を発表した後のライヴでは、イーノが誰にも気づかれず弾き始めるキーボードで幕を開ける、とても地味なものでした。音を追求しつくしたボウイはこのあとしばらく迷走してしまうのですが、今考えると、これだけの作品を出せば仕方ないなと感じてしまいます。
