デビューから6年。大塚 愛の数ある名曲の中から、恋する二人を描いた現在進行形のラブソングのみを厳選したラブソングBEST ALBUM『LOVE is BEST』が発売！「恋してキレイになる」をテーマにした新曲1曲、リアレンジで新しく蘇った楽曲を含む旧譜14曲からなる全15曲を予定。DVDには、新曲1曲＋旧譜（リアレンジ）1曲の、初収録Clip2曲を含む全6曲収録予定。ジャケットのアートディレクターは、広告はもとより、Mr.Children、キマグレンらのアートワーク、書籍の装丁などを手がけ、32歳にして、すでに広告界の主要な賞を総なめにした森本千絵 が担当。また、恋人達の季節、秋からクリスマスにかけて行われるカップル限定ツアー「大塚 愛 LOVE is BEST Tour 2009（仮）」とコンセプトをリンク。

    A new best album by Ai Otsuka. What should we think ? Actually, only two years passed since the first best album was done, which is a very short time. At first, I didn’t think it was a good idea, but this album is really good to listen, it’s pretty calm, except Sakuranbo. The love theme is perfectly respected, but, my real waiting is for her true next album.
