ヴィム･ヴェンダースがＳ.シェパードの脚本を得て完成させた､彼の充実期を代表する作品｡音楽は､８０年代には映画音楽の仕事を中心に活動していたライ･クーダー｡他の代表作には｢ロング･ライダーズ｣｢ジョニー･ハンサム｣等がありますが､中でも人気なのは本作です｡ロード･ムーヴィー＝メリハリのない音楽､というイメージも少々ありますが､そこはライ･クーダー､うまく展開しています｡定番の１枚｡

叙情的,切ないストーリー、映画必見。そのストーリーに美味-い味付けをした、さすがギター･シェフ、こんないい味付けできるのはRY・COODER以外無二。この作品を聴くだけで、映画の中の感情がじんわーり伝わってくる・・・ん〜さすがRY氏。必聴。定番。最高。聴かなきゃわかんない、んー美味で後味もいい・・・ナンドも食べたくなる、聴いててご馳走、満足な一品。0 people agree with this review
