これは今までビートルズを聞きつぶした人用。サージェント・ペパーズなんか確かにモノで聞くと発見がある。聞いてるうちにステレオ・ヴァージョンが不自然に聞こえてくるのが不思議だ。1 people agree with this review

私の様なかなり後追いファンの見解として、 基本的に自然な仕上がりのサウンドで、MONOの企画に見合った再現紙ジャケによる素晴らしい企画。そもそも左右から全く異なる音出てくるバランスの悪いステレオはいただけない。（右から声で、左からはギターとか）音質が良くても、これだけの理由で不自然である。ちょっと高価だけど、BEATLESという存在に、また少し近づける作品でもある。特に『MONO MASTERS』には圧倒され、不覚にも感涙…。2 people agree with this review

このMono Boxの価値は最初の4枚だけで良いと思う。ジョージマーチンも最初にCD化する時に最初の4枚だけは絶対にMonoにしてそれ以降はステレオにすべきと言ったとか言わなかったとか。僕はやっぱり前のCDの時もカセットに落としてウォークマンで聞いていたのでMonoの方が違和感たっぷりだ。それにステレオでないと当時のジョージやビートルズがピンポン録音をして苦労した音作りが分からないので、ものは最初の4枚だけで良いと思う。それと、いい加減紙ジャケは止めて欲しいレコード時代からやっと気軽に聞けるCDになって喜んでいたのにそう思ってるのって少数派なのかな？紙ジャケは傷がひどくて堪らないけどなー4 people agree with this review
