KUWATA BANDを聴いてから、私は桑田さんが大好きになりました。 サザンは「大衆消費音楽の為の奴隷」ですが、ソロでの彼の音楽世界は紛れもない「音楽ファン」への良質な作品集ばかりです。 「哀しみのプリズナー」の緊張感、「BLUE」での下山淳氏のG.ソロなどはサザンでは絶対に味わえない素晴らしさ。 後にミスチルで才能を爆発させる小林武史氏の才覚の片鱗も伺えます。 ソロ：桑田佳祐支持派の独り言でした。1 people agree with this review

ここで小林と構築していった音の作り方が、結局桑田は今でもまだ続いている×（小林はもっと違う音楽を見つけている○）。これ以後、サザンなど消滅していて、全部ソロ桑田しか世に出ていない様なものなのさ、つまんなくなったものさ。これはこれで良いのだけど。0 people agree with this review
