【著者紹介】
畑村耕一著 : １９４９年広島生まれ。工学博士、技術士。東京工業大学修士課程修了後、東洋工業（現・マツダ株式会社）に入社以来２６年間、ハイブリッド（ディーゼルエンジン＋電動機）、ディーゼルエンジン、Ｖ型６気筒ガソリンエンジン、ミラーサイクルエンジン、排気ガス対策システムほか、低公害・低燃費を目指して自動車用原動機の研究開発に携わってきた。ユーノス８００のミラーサイクルエンジン開発の中心人物だった。２００１年に独立して（株）畑村エンジン研究事務所を主宰（本データはこの書籍が刊行された当時に掲載されていたものです）
