全英No.1バンド、Kasabianが帰って来た！前作『Empire』から約3年振りとなるニュー・アルバム『West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum』が遂に完成！1stの起爆力に2ndで魅せたスケール感が増強されたと噂される今作。プロデューサーには、GorillazやDJ Shadowの作品で知られるビートの魔術師、Dan “The Automator”を起用！ロックでありながらフロアでもバッチリキマル、より1stアルバムに近く、これぞカサビアン・サウンドの新骨頂というような作品仕上がっているようです！シングル『Vlad The Impaler』を聴く限りではビートがずっしりと太くなった感じ。これはアルバムにも期待できる！！

全体的によくまとまった作品。独特の不穏な雰囲気に渋さが加わった。アルバムの中から１曲をつまみ食いするより、通して聴く方がいい。このアルバムを聴いてKASABIANが好きだと確信した。
