1970年代に活動したイタリアの伝説的プログレッシヴ・ロック・バンド「ラッテ・ミエーレ」の再結成復活第一弾ライヴ・アルバム。1970年結成。80年に解散するまでに4枚のスタジオ・アルバムをリリース。72年発表の1st「受難劇」と73年の2nd「パピヨン」というイタリアン・ロック史に燦然と輝く2枚の名盤を作り上げる。その複雑かつドラマティックな曲展開と様々な楽器を用いたクラシカルでシンフォニックなサウンドでカルトな信奉者を生んでいる。本作は72年発表の1st「受難劇」と73年の2nd「パピヨン」という２枚の名盤からの曲をメインに現在の編成で新たにリメイクしたライヴ・アルバムであり新曲も2曲収録されている(ボーナス・トラックも追加収録)。本ライヴには、「ニュー・トロルス」の現ドラマーである「アルフィオ・ヴィタンツァ」を含むオリジナル・メンバーの3人が参加、大枠では過去のテイストを保ちつつも新たに現代的な解釈を施した、まさに今を生きるロック・バンドとしての強い信念を感じさせる1枚に仕上がっている。
