HMV Review

兄バンジャマン･ビオレーのプロデュースによる2008年作。コラリー本人いわく「ファーストアルバムがそうだったように、とても自然に生まれた」「映画監督にディレクションをもらっているかのようだった」というのだから、その気負いのなさも作品に一役買っているかのよう。

本作は『Toy Store』というタイトルどおり、オモチャのような楽器（たとえばウクレレや木琴、おもちゃの笛、アルトハーフ･バイオリン、スライド・フルート、メロディカ、マラカス、シェイカーといったもの）の音を全編にちりばめており、コラリーのヴォーカルの透明感とのコントラストが楽しい。

アルバムの3曲めなどは3ヶ国語で歌われ、エティエンヌ･ダオやイタリアのキアラ･マストロヤンニを迎えて録音。壊れそうなあやういバランスを尊重しての客演はお見事！

３年待ちました。前作とは大分違う感じなんだけどやはりコラリーは最高。このウィスパーヴォイスが病みつきです。５曲目のJe ne sens plus ton amourが好きです。

この子はただのシンガーなのが、もったいない。お兄さんは天才なのだから、コラリーも楽器やソングライティングもできたら、いいのに。。三枚目でまたこのパターンはもうさすがにあきる。エチエンヌ・ダオもうっとうしい。かわいいだけ。
