カナダ出身のR&BシンガーDruのソロ･アルバムが流通開始。Druは以前、カナダの5人組ヴォーカル･グループIn Essenceのメンバーとして活躍していたシンガーで、昨年「Stay With Me（Always）」というメロウ･ナンバーが数あるMix CDに収録され、話題に。その後リリースされた本作が素晴らしい内容ということで口コミで広がったという代物。Jaheimを彷彿とさせる芳醇なヴォーカルに痺れる「The One」から、オートチューン使いの「Would You Mind」や、正統派バラードまでバラエティに富んだ内容です。J HolidayやBobby Valentinoが好きならぜひ。

あまり大々的にPUSHされていないのかもしれませんが、さり気なく芳醇な良作です。 リスナーの邪魔をしないアルバムに仕上がっていると思います。 聞きづらい曲や、飛ばしたくなる曲がない。 甘く切ない声、いいです。M1やM12がNE-YOならば、M3はJ Holiday、個人的にはM7に胸キュンでした。0 people agree with this review
