Amerieの「1 Thing」など2003年〜2007年までの大ヒットチューン15曲を集めたAmerieのベスト盤。2001年にNasの「Rule」にフィーチャーされシーンの注目を浴び、翌年には『All I Have』で鮮烈デビュー。R&B/ヒップホップ・シーンでの地位を確立。続くセカンド『Touch』では、大ヒット･プロデューサーRich Hariosnとの共同作業により「1 Thing」の大ヒットを生み出し、世界中でブレイク。グラミー賞2部門がノミネートされた他、多くの賞を受賞。3枚目のアルバム『Because I Love It』ではプロデュース、アレンジをこなすなど常に進化中の彼女。一方ではエキゾチックな美貌と100万ドルの脚線美でピープル誌の最も美しい100人に選らばれるなど多方面で注目の的。そんなAmerieのここ5年間に量産したヒット曲をあますことなくコンパイル。

    祝!移籍第一弾アルバムをDef Jamよりリリース。先行カット"WHY R U"は1stの感触が蘇る楽曲。音数を極力削り自身のコーラスで華のあるメロディーを添えるファンは待ちに待った"らしい"つくり。ただrichは不参加とのこと。tricky/jim jonsin/teddy riely/saraam remiらプロデューサーが参加とのことなので8月予定に首をながーくして待ちたい。

    BESTはBunus trackも既存の物ばかり、、、AMERIEのCDを一枚も持っていない人にはお勧め致します。 しかしSONY MUSICの売り方は、ファンに対してとても不親切だと思います。。。
