さらなる音楽的進化を目指し、3人が持つ才能をすべてチャットモンチーに捧げて作った3rdアルバムが完成。
1st・2ndアルバムと同様に全13曲収録ながら、今回はアルバム初収録曲が9曲。
既発シングル4曲もAlbum Mixが1曲、Album Ver.が1曲と、まさに渾身の1枚。
サウンド・プロデュースはデビュー以来のいしわたり淳治（6曲）に加えて、新たに亀田誠治（5曲）を迎え、
自身（2曲）も手掛けるなど、新展開を見せる内容に。
自身の中に眠る<ポップ感覚>をさらに拡げてＬiveまでを想定しながら作った作品が『生命力』だとすれば、
今回はリスナーと一対一で向き合いつつも優しく捉えて離さない、不思議な大きさを持ったバンド・アンサンブルが
特徴の作品となっている。
4枚の既発シングルでも強烈に示してきた様に、楽曲ごとのコンセプトがより明確となって
それぞれの色彩がさらに鮮やかで大胆なものになった結果、集合体としてのアルバムの完成度・密度が驚異的なものとなっている。
3人がVo.を取る曲もあったり、阿波踊りのビートを入れ込んだりするなど、アルバムでしか出来ない伸びやかな表現や遊び心も
随所に織り込まれ、バンドが最高の状態であることを雄弁に物語る。
期待を遥かに上回る、2009年 最も聴かれるべき傑作ロック・アルバム。

チャットの作品でいつも思うのは、ＣＤだからスタジオじゃなきゃ出来ないような音を入れようとかアレンジをしようって言うのがない。常に３人で出せる音、ライブで出せる音を意識して作ってるのを感じる。チャットモンチーはライブバンドだと改めて気付く。0 people agree with this review

明らかに前作よりも成長しているといえる作品。個人的には、全曲◎というわけではないが、「染まるよ」は傑作だ、こういう曲(歌詞も含め）が書けるから、このバンドは信用できるのだ。今作はこれまでやってきたことが自信にもなっているのだろう。奇蹟のような３人組だと思う。「風吹けば恋」も良い。0 people agree with this review

前２作から、確実に前に進んでいることを実感できる作品。 バラエティに富む、粒よりの作品が並んでいる。 後半に向かって、盛り上がっていく様子が楽しいし、頼もしい。 このままの３人でいてほしい。0 people agree with this review
