ﾌﾟﾘﾝｽのCDがﾘﾏｽﾀｰされないのは恐らくｱｰﾃｨｽﾄの意向が大きく影響しているみたいですね｡私は80年代の後半にﾘﾘｰｽされた輸入盤･FOREVER YOUNGｼﾘｰｽﾞの国内盤･紙ｼﾞｬｹSHM-CDの国内盤を持っていますが確かに音圧が物足りないのは事実です｡でも作品自体は最高評価ですけどね(笑)0 people agree with this review

正に『名盤』という文句無しの金字塔。 既に発表から20年以上も経つが、若かりし頃、最も勢いのあった無敵の殿下は間違いなくこの作品の中に存在している。 構成も完璧で、［When Doves Cry］からは最後の［Purple Rain］まで一気に展開して魅了させられる。1 people agree with this review

「When Doves Cry」が突如全米1位となり、日本でもあれよあれよと人気が急上昇した様は不思議でした。 私も“怖いもの見たさ”でレコードを買いましたが、最初は「こんなアルバム買わなきゃ良かった！」と友人が持っていたハワード・ジョーンズのLPと交換したほどでした。 後にCD化され改めて聴いた時には、遅ればせながらこのアルバムの素晴らしさに気付いたものです。 タイトル曲の感動的なギター・ソロは、今でも鳥肌が立ちます！3 people agree with this review
