”モノクロ・ジャケットに駄盤なし”を証明する名盤です。７６年以降の彼らが取り組んできた、都会的で洗練されたサウンドの到達点が、このアルバムだったのかもしれません。１曲目の心地よいスピード感に始まって、グイグイと聴かせてくれる楽曲群にだただた圧倒されるばかりです。全米が認めた「ある愚か者の場合」も文句なしの傑作ですが、同じく”愚か者”をテーマにした「How Do The Fools Survive?」は、このアルバムの要となる１曲だと思います。特に、後半からエンディングにかけての乾いたギター・ソロのリフレインは、アルバムを締めくくるに相応しい名曲です。ほのかに土の匂いのするアコースティックな小品、「Sweet Feelin’」もおススメです。0 people agree with this review
