発売当時に買った輸入盤は非常に強いコピーコントロールがかかっていたので、このたびリイシュー盤を買いなおしました。久しぶりに聞ききましたが、やっぱり最高。デーモンの他のプロジェクトと近い世界観ながら、穏やかなメロディと民族音楽的な雰囲気の融合は「ありそうでない」唯一無二の作品になってます。時折Crazy Beatのような激しさをもった曲が入っていてダレさせないのもグッド。アルバムトータルで一つの映画を見ているような、そんな感覚を起こさせる傑作です。0 people agree with this review

初めて聴いた時はブラーのサウンドというより、どちらかといえばデーモンのソロアルバムに近いコンセプトアルバムに感じた。グレアムが抜けてからブラーはどうあるべきであるか試行錯誤した結果のアルバムといえば理解がたやすいのかもしれない。しかしながらデーモンの音楽に対する魂が詰まった傑作である事は確かだ。0 people agree with this review

冒頭のAMBULANCEを聴いて、あ〜blurも随分と遠いところへ来ちゃったな〜･･･、と言うのが正直な感想。俺は大のROXY(あとBOWIEね）ファンなので、これはblur版AVALONなのかもしれない、って。13とはまた全く違った意味での“優しさ”に溢れたアルバムかもしれない。(歌詞をよく見てないから判らないが）BEATLESで言えばLET IT BEか？２ndや３rdの頃のような バンドの融和感は確かにないが、それでもバラバラにはならずにすんでのところで踏みとどまってblurの音楽を聴かせてくれてるだけで、もう満足なのだ。デーモンの素晴らしい音楽性が全開だ！0 people agree with this review
