UP-BEATのアルバムが1年以上前に再発されていたとは...。このアルバムが出たのは周りの影響などもあって洋楽も聴き始めた高校生の時。よく聴いてたなぁ～...。全般的にキャッチーさはありながらも、特にＭ-2，3，6あたりの歌詞は、それまで自分の聞いていた日本のバンドにはないもので、その“異物感”が曲の良さをより引き立たせていて、いいアルバムになっていると思う。大学以降、ほぼ洋楽一辺倒になってしまった後も時折引っ張り出して聴きたくなることがあった...大人になってから聴くと、Ｍ-8“Brother Hopeの為に”の歌詞など高校生の時に聴いていた感覚と違って聞こえてきたりして...そうそうＭ-4も好きな曲だなぁ...。今の若い人たちが聴いたら、どんな感想を持つんだろう？そんなことまで感じさせてくれるアルバムです。

何気にUP-BEAT聴いてみた当時ポストBOΦWYとしての位置に甘んじていたこのバンドの転換期に出たアルバム。 M-2の歌詞など当時は自分的にはガツーンと頭叩かれたみたいだったなぁ M-9はこのバンドの不朽の名作とにかく聴いてもらいたいなぁ
