活動の拠点をパリから東京へ移して以後初のアルバム『Beat Vacation』の発表後、精力的なDJ活動を続けてきたDigikiの 「日本の若者に世界中のすばらしいダンスミュージックを届けたい」という強い思いが結実したのが、この『Dense Music』。 MyspaceやBlogを通じて広がったDigiki人脈のうち、自身が心から『Beat Vacation』の再構築を依頼したいと願うアーティストに声をかけ始めて数ヵ月後、本プロジェクトの主旨、そしてDigikiの音楽性に共感した世界中の大御所、新世代のスターたちから届いた『Beat Vacation』のリミックス楽曲を、自らが厳選し、丁寧にコンパイル。2005年8月から現在に至るまで毎月発表し、通算50、000ダウンロード超を数える人気ポッドキャスト『Polypunk』を主宰してきた彼の音楽編集センス・スキルを遺憾なく発揮している。
