テニスの名門校・西高に通う岡ひろみは、お蝶夫人と呼ばれる竜崎麗香の華麗なプレーに憧れてテニス部に入部した、ごく普通の女子高生。平凡な日々を送っていたひろみは、ある日新任コーチの宗方仁に関東地区予選の選手に抜擢される。突然のことに戸惑うひろみ。周囲の嫉妬や妬みを買い孤立したひろみは、テニス部を退部しようとするが、憧れの男子部主将・藤堂貴之や親友・マキの励まし、宗方の熱い想いに押され、自らに課せられた運命に立ち向かい始める。

パーフェクト、と言っていいと思う。あまりにも眩しい熱血青春スポーツ根性ストーリーを、照れもごまかしもなく、１２０パーセント全力でぶつかった最高の映画化。人は何かを本気でやっている人を見るとついおちゃらかして笑い物にしたがるが、この映画はそんな中途半端な気持ちを思いっきり跳ね飛ばしてしまう。そんな中途半端な輩は眼中にないし、本気で全力を尽くさなければ本気の感動を味わえないのを知っている。彼女たちの全力の本気がひたすら眩しく、美しい。今青春時代にある人に是非見てほしい。出崎統監督のとんがった演出はここで一つの完成に至ったと思うし、全編に渡って杉野昭夫作画監督の最高の筆が堪能できる。0 people agree with this review
