Roating AssemblyやThree Chairsとしてのリリースはあったものの本人名義のアルバムとしては実に8年ぶり。昨年先行リリースされた3枚組のアナログアルバムはGiles Petersonの年間ベストアルバムに選出されるなど世界的ヒットを記録。日本国内の様々なレコードショップのセールスチャートにも入り、ロングセラーを記録している。 今回のアルバムは初の2枚組CDのフルボリューム。Theo Parrish自ら「フロア向けのトラックをカットしたアナログ盤アルバムに対し、この2CDではアナログ盤に落としこめなかった色々な楽曲を収録させた」と語るように、多様性と強烈な個性を感じる多くの楽曲が新たに収められ、このアルバムの深みを大きく引き上げた。いいシステムで聴いてこそわかる異質化された独特な音の配置、初期シカゴハウスのフィーリングを感じさせる実験的でラフなリズム、そしてそれを飲み込むかのように覆い包みこむ黒くスピリチュアルなジャズのエッセンス...。楽曲によってソウルやフュージョンが持つ温かみ、またメンタルな部分に深く染み込む叙情性も感じさせる、ひとつの言葉では括りきれない多様性のある収録曲が本アルバム最大の魅力。ロングフライトを楽しめる極上のサウンドスケープ。
