In Japan they may be known just to people in the know, but the New York underground band Mindless Self Indulgence have been around since 1997. One of the members Lyn Z is married to Gerard from My Chemical Romance, but more than anything they are a truly unique gothic punk band whose fearless, intuitive live performance is just so overwhelming, and their sound quality is so sophisticated they could beat any major label bands. They are so fixated about being an indie band, and their outrageous costumes are not just for an image but really come from their real life style that is the basis of their music.

At the moment they represent "HOT TOPIC", the biggest US select shop chain, which kind of tells that with such strong backup from their fans and businesses they are better positioned now than anyone else to make it!
Their popularity is already well established in many countries, with their titles always achieving high chart rankings - and now they are set to attack Japan!
The band have announced to tour UK with My Chemical Romance this winter. Now you know you just cannot afford to miss out on this band!
