Swing Out Sister are finally launching "Beautiful Mess", their first studio album in 4 years following up on the advance single "Secret Love" (used on a shampoo commercial film). They've been attracting media attention as their classic from 1986 "Breakout" was used on a mobile phone CM starring Cameron Diaz. Will this album mark their full comeback?

SOSの音楽は、ポップだけど浮ついていないし、大人な雰囲気を醸し出していますが、このアルバムはまさにその典型！っていうか、間違いなく傑作！！楽曲にムラがないし、聴いていても飽きません！ポップであるんですけど、どこか他と違うのは彼らの上手さでしょう！

Beatiful MessのCDジャケットは、非常ににくい演出だと思いません？だって、このアルバムに収められている各々の曲のサウンドに漂うテイストが、まさにそれなんです！特に、コリーンの超個性的なファッションは、アルバム全体のテーマを示していると思うな。いやー、僕の独りよがりな意見かもしれないですけど、ヤラレますね～。

実は名盤です。全体的にまとまっていて、ハズレがない、曲順も完璧で通しで何度聴いても飽きません。まさに、今の時代のＦＲＥＥＳＯＵＬって感じです。オサレでなごめるアルバムです！
