1978年「右向け右」でデビューした石川ひとみ。2008年でめでたくデビュー30周年を迎える彼女のアニバーサリーアルバム。

Disc-1は彼女のヒット曲の数々を、アコースティック風味溢れる"一期一会ヴァージョン"としてセルフカバー。大ヒット曲「まちぶせ」、デビュー曲「右向け右」、みんな知っている「プリンプリン物語」など、このベストの為の新録含む、ファンの期待どおりの楽曲をセレクト。

聴く前はアイドルのイメージが強かったですが、結構歌唱力もあり２枚目の叙情歌も味わい深く、一期一会という楽器の不思議な音色と相まって心地よく聴かせていただきました。懐かしさで買いましたが、予想外に素晴らしくて感激です。
