毎年クリスマス時期は、アンさんのチークシリーズを聴いてますが、このシリーズで一番気に入っているのがチークⅢです。 カーペンターズのカレンが亡くなった時に、彼女に捧げたいということで作られたアルバムで、カーペンターズの曲はもちろん、イーグルスのならず者など、ラストにはアンさんがカレンに宛てた曲が収録され、あったかい部屋の中で落ち着いて聴きたい一枚です。 そのチークⅢから20年以上の時を経て、久々のチークアルバムが完成したわけですが、なんだかあまりしっくりこないなぁ…っていうのが正直なところ。 今年もこの時期が来たので車の中で聴き込んでみるとします。 チーク、チークⅡももちろんいいですよ。 でももう廃盤になっちゃってますね… アンさんのコンプリートボックスって出ないのかな？ 毎回毎回、似たり寄ったりの選曲のベストはもういいです… ビクターさん、よろしく。0 people agree with this review
