このCDが発売される3年少し前、スピッツのメンバーは各所でいろんなインタビューに答えてます。その辺りの発言を聞くと、この時期メンバーの様々な想いが、（おそらく）このCDの全編に影響していることが判って興味深い。おそらく今までのスピッツのアルバムの中で、一番強烈なメッセージ性を持った作品集で、最初から最後までかなり強い一貫した意志を持って作られていると思います。そのことが、時にあまりに綺麗すぎる、同じような曲ばかり、という批判にも頷ける原因になっているのかも知れません。しかしながら、この全編を流れる異常なまでの美しさ、爽やかさは、それが失われた世界を想定して意図的に生み出された部分であると考えると、逆にスピッツのこのアルバムに込められた、ある意味悲痛な想いを裏返しに反映していることに気づかされます。自分たちに、「うた」に、何ができるか、そのことを真摯に考え続ける人間達が贈ってくれた、あまりに美しい、しかし決して軽くはないメッセージが感動的な作品です。0 people agree with this review

煮詰まりそうでベスト乱発後どうなるかハラハラの後良かったです。このバンドは何故かどのアルバムも録音ノイズレベル多い目なのですが ノイズ少なめで曲内容もぐっといいです。スピッツワールド満載。0 people agree with this review
