紀元前480年。スパルタ王レオニダスのもとにペルシア帝国の使いがやって来た。この東方の大帝国が次なる標的に定めたのは、スパルタをはじめとするギリシアの地。国を滅ぼされたくなかったら、ペルシアに土地と水を差し出し、服従の証をたてろと、その使者は言う。
「服従か、死か？」と問われれば、スパルタの答えは一つ･･･王レオニダスがペルシアの使者を葬り去った瞬間、スパルタは100万の大軍を敵に回した。戦いを決意した王のもとに集まったのは300人。しかしそれはただの300人ではない。スパルタ精鋭の300人だ！この男たちに「退却」の二文字は無い！100万のペルシア軍を相手に、鍛え抜かれた肉体と剣で300人が縦横無尽に突き進む!!

ブルーレイで鑑賞、画像の感想です。画像★４個、ざらついてますが、映画館で見たときもそのような風合いだったのでこんなものかなと思います。ただ他の綺麗だと言われているブルーレイディスクを見慣れてしまうと物足りないので★４個です。2 people agree with this review

とにかく絵が綺麗！その絵が予想できない動きをするから飽きない。音声無しでも楽しめる作品ではないだろうか。男の筋肉というイメージがあるが女性も美しく映像表現されている。ストーリーは単純明快で男気ある主人公が気持ちいい。0 people agree with this review
