Dragon Ash、10周年を記念するベストアルバム。97年のデビュー以来最前線で戦い続けてきた彼らの歴史を凝縮し2枚同時でリリース。初期のパンク、グランジ/オルタナの影響を感じさせられるサウンドから、ミクスチャー、Hip Hopへと傾倒。そしてドラムンベースやラテンまでも吸収した独自のサウンドを確立した近年まで、サウンドの移り変わり、kjのリリックの変化。まだ曲目は確定していませんが、ベストとしてまとめて聴くと、彼らの凄まじいポテンシャルと、やりたい放題やってるな～と、あらためて実感できそう。そしてDragon Ashの素晴らしいところは、これだけやりたい放題やっているのに、ポピュラリティを獲得し、圧倒的な支持を得ている点ではないでしょうか？それはkjの共感を得るリリックであったり、天才的なメロディセンスであったり、そして07年に発売された『Independiente』でも見せた、10年を経過しながらいまだに進化を続けるバンドそのものの姿勢であったり。

    新曲の’For Diver’s Area’は最近のLatin的アプローチと初期のPunk色をうまく混ぜている楽曲です。’天使のロック’や’Public Garden’が好きな自分にはDAが昔やってた音楽を昇華させているようで嬉しかったです。曲順も新鮮に感じました☆
