HMV Review

Josh Homme, arguably one of the most prolific and acclaimed songwriters and musicians of his generation, returns to Queens Of The Stone Age for their next mammoth release. Following a rather joyous digression with another Eagles Of Death Metal album, Josh and co have been busy with 'Era Vulgaris', their fifth studio album, due to be released this summer. 'Era Vulgaris' includes a re-recording of the Desert Session favourite 'Make It Witchu' (with Mark Lanegan's vocals replaced by Josh's), and features a track with Julian Casablancas from The Strokes.

    Trentが参加してる”You know what you did”は未収録なのですね。(代わりにネットから落とせますが)この曲かなり好きなんですけど、どうせなら日本のボーナストラックにして欲しかったです。

    スクリーミングトゥリーズから辿り着いたのだが、マークラネガンは既にヴォーカルではなかった。ジョシュ（なんと読むのか分らん）単独の声質はドアーズのジムモリソンに似てるのか、意識的にそうしているのか分らんが、なかなかのもんだ。サブヴォーカルと重なるとクリームを彷彿とさえさせる勢いだ。ほかのアルバムも聴きたくなる一枚だ。
