サード・アルバムにして最後のオリジナル・アルバム。メロディアスなバラードと見事なハーモニー・ワークはアイドルから真のスターへとして成長してゆく姿が窺われ、彼らの絶頂期ともいえる内容になっている。残念ながら、このアルバムの直後にロビー・ウィリアムスが脱退して96年にグループは一旦解散した。

もう９年位前のことですが、車の中のラジオから、この Take That の Back for Good が流れて来ました。なんてきれいな、心を打つメロディーなんだろう…と感動したのを今でもよく覚えています。それで買ってみたアルバムがこれでした。若かりし日の Take That は、アップテンポな曲が中心でした。けれどこのアルバムは、グループとして円熟期を迎えた５人が完成させた最も完成度が高くて、美しいメロディーを最大限にアピールしたアルバムです。バラードが好きな方、きっと素敵なメロディーに出会えます。
