HMV Review
Even As We Speakはオーストラリアのシドニーで結成された。Sarah Recordsからのリリースで広く知られるようになるが、それまでに彼らは1986年デビュー以降、地元のVoyeur、BHP、Phantomといったレーベルから計5枚のシングルをリリースしている。今作は、その中から彼等自身の監修、リマスタリングで今まで入手の難しかったレア音源をバンド責任編集でお届けする。Sarah 以降少しずつ音楽性を膨らましていった彼等だが、この時点ではGo Betweensへの憧れが色濃く現れているようだ。ハイライトとしては、あの人気のNew Orderカバー「Bizarre Love Triangle」を収録。全17曲。Sarahと言えばやはり7"、しかしSarahがアルバムをリリースした数少ないバンドとして、いまだにその伝説は続いている！
