HMV Review
'Brianstorm' is the stomping opener and first single from 'Favourite Worst Nightmare'. And it's very, very fast, it's loud and its bad tempered guitar rifts and drums give the song a feel of emergency. It's a brilliant racket but it's also one of the strongest songs the Arctic's have ever written.
Alex's razorsharp wit is on tantalising form here; Brian is the flash, insufferable anti-hero of this Morricone-gone-drill'n' bass opening shot. Turner's lyric is a vignette, the portrait of a modern day villain, one of those scummy men who come in all shapes and sizes.

”Favourite Worst Nightmare” was an album that I was expecting too much and after its realease I got too much of it! Beacause it’s so good!! It’s amazing how this band could stand in the way of good compositions from album to album. Pure excellent alternative rock!!!0 people agree with this review
