濃厚個性派ヴァイオリニスト、イヴリー・ギトリス[1922- ]の妙技を堪能できるプログラム。グリュミオーのＤＶＤのボーナスに『ロンカプ』が入っていたのをご記憶の方も多いでしょうが、やはりギトリスの面白さは視覚が伴うとさらにアップすることは確実なので、今回のコンチェルルト＆ショウ・ピースのリリースはファンには嬉しいところです。

ギトリスのスピッカートはおそらく､あのハイフェッツをも超す凄味がある｡ 普通ひとつひとつの音が短く鳴らせても、音と音の間隔が広がってしまう(Vengerovの唯一の弱点)か間隔が狭くても、前の音を引きずってしまうということが多いのだが、ギトリスの場合歯切れ良く完璧に近いテンポで鳴らし切っている。 ?追伸? 彼のロンカプはこの曲の第一席に来る演奏であろう。 1980年代に日本で再録音したものがあるが永らく廃盤となっている。EMIが再発売してくれないものか。2 people agree with this review
