ブレンデルの師匠のバッハ弾きである本質の演奏が継承されている。再発で音が不自然な響きになっているが、間違いなく素晴らしい演奏である。録音として聴くなら、やはりバッハは音質も必然だ。ブレンデルのタッチは、グールドも良いのだが、芳醇で柔らかい音色としては、本盤が間違いなく素晴らしい！0 people agree with this review

どうもこの国では、バッハのピアノ演奏というと、まずグールドということになる。２０年以上前に亡くなったのに、異常な人気だ。でもボクは前世紀のバッハでは、ブレンデルがベストだと思う。この人は、学究肌が嫌われるのか、いまいち人気がない。デジタルに移行する前のフィリップスの最良の録音のひとつだと思う。0 people agree with this review
