Ultimate Collection is an assortment of El DeBarge's finest moments, including songs from his years as a key member of his family's group (DeBarge). The 16 tracks are a wide range of upbeat pop hits, slow ballads, and love songs over the past two decades as a solo artist. And while his finest moments in DeBarge aren't included here, there's a previously unreleased extended mix of Who's Johnny as a bonus purchase for those seeking out a copy of this '80s smash on compact disc. デバージ時代の曲はグループのベスト盤に入っているのでいれなくてもよかったと思う。その代わりソロ時代の曲をもっといれてほしかったし、ベイビーフェイスとの共作曲が１曲も入ってないのはなぜ？個人的に１番お気に入りのハート・マインド＆ソウルからも２曲しか入ってないし、収録曲に納得がいかないので７点かな。

発見したとき正直ビックリ(ﾟ〇ﾟ;)でした、エル・デバージのベストが出るとは思ってなかったんでね。発売が楽しみです☆
