HMV Review
音楽誌でも特集が組まれるほどに盛り上がっている北欧のミュージック・シーン。このブラックストラップなるバンドも、ハイヴス、T(I)NC、ラスト・デイズ・オブ・エイプリル、ランディーらを輩出したスウェーデンの出身で、更なるシーンの活性化に一役買いそうな気配。初期レディオヘッドやMEWを彷彿とさせる繊細で綺麗なギター・ロックではあるが、楽曲にいまひとつパンチやフックが足りない感も。しかしながら非凡な何かは感じるし、アルバムを聴いていると、朝もやに包まれたスウェーデンの凛とした風景が目の前に広がるだけに、今後に大きく期待したい。
