'01年発表｡思えば｢ﾀﾞﾝｻｰ･ｲﾝ･ｻﾞ･ﾀﾞｰｸ｣のｻﾝﾄﾗ盤が伏線だった｡映画の内容ばかりが騒がれていたけれど､あのｱﾙﾊﾞﾑはｵｳﾞｧﾙやｷｯﾄﾞ606といった当時のﾖｰﾛｯﾊﾟのｴﾚｸﾄﾛﾆｶ系からの影響を強く受けた､明らかに次への予告編ともいえる作品｡だから､この作品が､ｽﾄｲｯｸな電子音で彩られているらしいという話を聞いてもことさら驚くこともなかった｡ しかし､こうして届いた音を聴いてみれば､やはりその構築力の素晴らしさに舌を巻く｡そして､それ以上に制作ﾒｿｯﾄﾞを感じさせない美しさにも｡電子音と聞いてﾋﾟｺﾋﾟｺした打ち込みの音を想像する方も多いだろうが､ここで聴けるのはまるで天国の風景を音で描いたような幽玄の世界｡ただただ､美しく､気高い｡先行ｼﾝｸﾞﾙでもある①はｲｷﾞﾘｽ人ｸﾘｴｲﾀｰのﾏｼｭｰ･ﾊｰﾊﾞｰﾄがﾘｽﾞﾑを､ｻﾝﾌﾗﾝｼｽｺの2人組ﾏﾄﾓｽがﾊﾟﾙｽ･ﾉｲｽﾞを手がけており､以降の曲はﾃﾞﾝﾏｰｸのｸﾘｴｲﾀｰ､ｵﾋﾟｴｲﾄが素材提供をしているけれど､基本的なﾌﾟﾛﾀﾞｸｼｮﾝはﾋﾞｮｰｸとｶﾞｲ･ｼｸﾞｽﾜｰｽ｡ｵｳﾞｧﾙのｻﾝﾌﾟﾘﾝｸﾞ使用も含め､その計算され尽くされたﾌﾟﾛﾀﾞｸｼｮﾝは見事のひと言だ｡けれど､ﾆｭｰﾖｰｸ在住のｼﾞｰﾅ･ﾊﾟｰｷﾝｽによる瑞々しいﾊｰﾌﾟ演奏と､特注で作らせたというｵﾙｺﾞｰﾙの音色､そしてﾋﾞｮｰｸの浮世離れしたﾎﾞｰｶﾙがこうした創作過程をﾊﾞﾗﾊﾞﾗにして昇華させてしまう｡そして､本作がやはりどうしようもなくﾎﾟｯﾌﾟであることに､自分は泣くほど感動してしまうのだ｡0 people agree with this review

音楽史に名が残る傑作！ ドビュッシーやラヴェルが印象派を築き上げたけど、この作品はビョーク派と言っても過言ではない程クオリティが高い。油と水の関係でしかない電子音とストリングス、クワイアやハープにチェレスタを融合させたその世界観にただただ感動。おそらくこの作品の合唱隊はLiberaではないかと思う今日この頃。0 people agree with this review
