ｷﾞﾚﾘｽ/ﾖｯﾌﾑ&BPO盤と双璧をなす名盤！勿論両者は趣向が異なる。ｷﾞﾚﾘｽ盤は、強靱ながら時に繊細なﾋﾟｱﾉにBPOの重厚なｻｳﾝﾄﾞが四つに組む構図である。対してこのﾊﾞｯｸﾊｳｽ盤は、まろやかで温かみのあるﾋﾟｱﾉにVPOの暖色系のｻｳﾝﾄﾞが寄り添う形である。迫力や情熱のこもった演奏を求める人はｷﾞﾚﾘｽを、武骨ながら叙情的で温和な演奏を望む人はﾊﾞｯｸﾊｳｽを聴けば良いだろう。勿論、どちらも名盤だから、興味のある人は聴き比べも面白いと思う。因みに、輸入盤では96kHz/24bitのﾘﾏｽﾀﾘﾝｸﾞが施されており、その上ﾓｰﾂｧﾙﾄの27番が併録されているのでお薦めだ。ただﾌﾞﾗｰﾑｽの終演間際にある音割れは如何せん変わらない。これさえ良くなっていればますます評価が上がるだろう。0 people agree with this review

何度聴いても絶対に飽きの来ない世紀の名盤。第１番にはルービンシュタインとグリモーという２つの名盤が有りますが、第２番となるとこの演奏が最高です。評判の良いギレリスなどは何度も聴き込むとそのうち飽きが来ますから。どうしてもセカンドチョイスを購入する場合には、むしろルービンシュタイン＝オーマンディか、ゲルバーがお勧めできます。0 people agree with this review
