トリスタンの全曲録音の最高の演奏です。スタジオ録音なので音も良く、フルトヴェングラーの解釈が隅から隅まで堪能できます。また、フラグスタートの歌には終始圧倒されっぱなしです。世紀の巨匠と最高のワーグナー歌手の組み合わせによる名演が残されたことにただただ感謝あるのみです。0 people agree with this review

レビューをした後、激しく後悔することがある。クライバーのバイロイトを聞いても、フルヴェン、ベルリン国立のライブ盤を聞いても、やはりこれが一番だと実感した。愛の死では本当に吸い込まれそうな感覚になる。評価はもちろん最高です。0 people agree with this review

確かに「迫力あるが情感薄いベーム」、「透明で叙情的なクライバー（スタジオ）」と比べると、本盤が最も深みが素晴らしいと思います。しかしそれでもエロイカのスタジオ盤（52年）と同様、物足りなさがあるのも事実。クライバーのバイロイトライブが良質録音で再発されるのを心待ちにしています。0 people agree with this review
