鈴木 秀美（バロック・チェロ:6番はチェロ・ピッコロ使用）
1995年デジタル録音。レコ芸特選の鈴木秀美の名演が輸入盤で復活。この曲集がバッハ30歳代の作曲であったことについて考え抜かれた演奏で、特に3番のプレリュードのテンポは、鈴木秀美独自の解釈により、プレストで演奏されているのにはビックリ。名器Ａ・アマティの音色も素晴らしいものです。

    プレリュードは古学的アプローチ、でもアルマンドで現代的なアプローチが出てきて、その後もロマンティック、即物主義、戦前の方法、合理主義、歌謡性を前面に押し出すものなど、スタイルが混乱している。主張していることと現実に出す音が全く違う演奏家は多い。音色は良いし、６番でのピッコロの威力は相当なもの。しかしアンナ・マグダレーナ・バッハによる筆写譜と、弟子のヨハン・ペーター・ケルナーによる筆写譜を基本にしているそうだが、これでは意味が無い。レコ芸程度の浅いレベルなら満足できるだろう。買うなら新録。
