これは良い、本当に素晴らしい！会場を埋め尽くす大勢の聴衆。彼らと同じく、リラックスして楽しめ、そして興奮と感動を味わえる。「カルメン組曲」、「ボレロ」ときて、まるでロック・コンサートのような熱狂ぶりに圧倒されつつ、「ホフマンの舟歌」でのまさに歌心あふれる美しさに、思わず感涙にむせぶ。音楽を体現するかの如き表情豊かなプレートルの指揮も見もの。今から、来年の「ニュー・イヤー」がとても楽しみだ。0 people agree with this review

ヴァルトビューネでのBPOコンサートは何種類かの記録が残っていますが、プレートルが最高と思います。「ボレロ」ではメロディーの無い２小節でその都度プレートルの姿が見られますが、指揮とはこういうものだと納得させられます。こう振られたらどのプレーヤーも、次の旋律は最高の演奏をせざるを得ない。まさしく神聖な遊び。残念なのは「牧神」でプレートルの姿が見られないこと！0 people agree with this review
