HMV Review

NHKハイビジョンドラマ『風の盆から』（出演：松本幸四郎、賠償三津子、川井郁子ほか）の劇中に使用された楽曲を選りすぐったミニアルバム。久石譲本人をして今年最高の出来だと言わしめた作品なので、聴き応えある内容になっています。演奏は胡弓の第一人者ジャー・パンファン、チェロに国際的チェリスト諸岡由美子をむかえ非常にハイクオリティな仕上がりです。心に染みる入る音色・メロディで、自然と聴く者が久石ワールドへ引きこまれる作品です。

久石氏の曲と言うより,わかりやすい武満徹みたいだった。カーステなどのＢＧＭとしては最高だが、スピーカーを前にして目をつぶってジックリ聴くＣＤとしては、いまひとつ何かが欲しいところだった。

美しく切なく唄うチェロ諸岡さんとベテラン胡弓ジャーさんの音が絡み合う音楽の仕業は久石さんならではの、芸術ですね。ヨーロッパでも時折耳にするこの「風の盆」。アジア史上初快挙ですね。素晴らしい作品で満足しました。

This soundtrack CD contains a few tracks with the main title ”Kaze no Bon” which is played in 3 different versions. The music is very unusual; you will not find anything similar neither in previous Joe Hisaishi’s works nor in the works of other musicians. It is quite interesting combination of the erhu and cello. I would recommend this CD to those customers who would like to listen to something completely different in New Age.
