椎名林檎の新たなバンド”東京事変”。”声弦”の椎名林檎（シーナリンゴ）をはじめ、太鼓の刃田綴色（ハタトシキ）、鍵盤のH是都M(エイチゼットエム）、四弦の亀田誠治（カメダセーヂ）、六弦の晝海幹音（ヒラマミキオ）からなるこのバンドは、椎名林檎の感性と、バンドの初期衝動を融合させ特異な存在感を放つ。そしてここに待望のデビューアルバムが完成！全12曲を収録し、シングル『群青日和』、「現実に於て」、「サービス」を作曲・H是都Mが担当し、それ以外は椎名林檎がすべて作詞・作曲。全編曲・演奏は東京事変が行っています。バンドである必然性と椎名林檎らしさを足すとこうなるのか？と思わせる、絶妙な間合いで構成された今作は、激しさと穏やかさを同時に兼ね備えている。ぱっと聴きくと乱雑な印象をうけるかもしれないが、そこは椎名林檎と仲間達。2度3度と聴くうちに新たな発見が感じられる仕上がりとなっています！

暇だから聴いてみた。群青日和は文句なしに名曲ですね。それ以外の曲は聞いてて不快ってレベルでした。

バンドとしての林檎さんはやっぱりココがピーク☆荒削りなサウンドがバンドらしいし、テクニックのあるミュージシャンをメンバーにしても全員がエゴを出さずにバンドサウンドを意識している素晴らしいアルバムですね。
