前作「Love Deluxe」から8年、色あせることのない世界最高峰のサウンドは健在。8年間の活動休止を経て、シャーデーとバンドは彼女の芸術性を見事に再確認させる、充実したソウルフルなアルバムを引っさげ帰ってきた。おそらく本作で何より特筆されるのはシャーデーが活動休止したのと同じ場所から始めている点である。したがって本作はからはクールビートや流行の音楽からの借り物やヒップホップの小細工は聞こえない。本差うはまさにシャーデーの音楽でありファースト･シングルの"By Your Side"で彼女は、優しくはかない翼に乗り表舞台に舞い戻ってきている。ダブ風の"Every Word"を聴けば別れを認めて涙に暮れるだろう。2000年作品、初ナイス･プライス化。

そっと優しく語りかけてくるような歌声が素晴らしい。 Bye Your Sideは特に名曲。 温かい曲は体温を感じるような質感で、ちょっと暗い曲もとても味がある。 ベテランにしか出せない深みがあるそんなアルバム。名作です0 people agree with this review
