The title cut was Mic Murphy and David Frank's greatest record, a catchy title, decent vocals, and outstanding rhythm track, making it both a club and radio staple throughout 1987. It was also a high water mark for their techno-funk; this was their last record to make such an impact. Techno-funk was being supplanted by hip-hop, dancehall, New Jack Swing, house and hip-house. 今、聞いても２０年前のアルバムとは感じさせないサウンドはスゴイ！！。全米４位を記録したタイトル曲は名曲。クールで爽快、お洒落なサマーサウンド。この曲のヒットでアルバムも当時、全米トップ４０入りしました。当時は角松敏生氏も彼らと頻繁に交流してましたね。角松氏の音楽を聴いてみても分かるけど、彼らにかなり影響されてますヨ。でも結局は典型的な一発屋だったんだよなぁ・・・。惜しい！！。

デビュー当時、異色だった、白人／黒人のデュオTHE SYSTEM。表題曲’Don’t Disturb This Groove’ アップテンポでなく、ミディアムテンポ（むしろスロー）で見事、世界的ヒットを飛ばしたのが流石、職人技。Davidの粘るベースラインとMicの澄んだボイス、THE SYSTEMの頂点がこのアルバム！
