    私が一番よく聞くグールドはこれ。55年盤は緩急が変奏によって差が激しすぎる。81年盤の緻密で隙がない世界は恐らく彼の頭にある曲そのものだろう。しかしそれはイデアの世界で現実に体験することは不可能なのではないか。繰り返し録音を聞けば聞くほどわからなくなる。だから81年盤は彼岸の世界として夢見ながら、そこへの架け橋として当盤を聞く。スタイルとしては55年盤に近いが、ライブという時間性故に探るようなグールドの手触りが如実に伝わってくる。私にとってグールドを聞く幸せな時間を最も感じる音盤だ。
