優秀録音。指揮するﾒｰﾀは絢爛豪華なこの作品を描くのに最適な一人。ｻｻﾞﾗﾝﾄﾞも世評はどうあれ、浮世離れした姫にﾏｯﾁしていると思うが如何？ﾊﾟｳﾞｧﾛｯﾃｨも本来の役ではないが、切れの良い歌唱はさすが。さらに見事なのはﾘｭｰの歌ととﾋﾟﾝﾎﾟﾝﾊﾟﾝのｱﾝｻﾝﾌﾞﾙ。ｶﾊﾞﾘｴの弱音の素晴らしさ、そしてｸﾗｳｾﾞ以下ｳﾞｪﾃﾗﾝ達の芸達者ぶり。ここがｶﾗﾔﾝ盤他を凌駕している部分です。0 people agree with this review

この時期最も調子の良かったメータがプッチーニの最高傑作を鳴らし切り、そのサウンドを円熟期のウィルキンソンが完璧なまでに捉えた超優秀録音。最新のＳＡＣＤも足元にも及ばぬこのリアルさに脱帽。0 people agree with this review

サザーランドは、トゥーランドットとしては必ずしも声質があってるとは思いませんが、クリアーな美声のトゥーランドットもなかなか素敵でした。圧巻は、やはり現役ばりばりのころのパヴァロッティの誰もにてはならぬ。これだけでも十分に聞く価値はあります。0 people agree with this review
