    1913年、のちのｵｰｽﾄﾘｱ皇帝となるﾌﾗﾝﾂ･ﾌｪﾙﾃﾞｨﾅﾝﾄﾞ大公が、狩猟へ出かけた際に純白に輝くｱﾙﾌﾟｽｶﾓｼｶに遭遇した。大公は現地の案内人の忠告も聞かず、そのｶﾓｼｶを猟銃で撃ち殺してしまった。 その翌年、ｾﾙﾋﾞｱ人の青年によりﾌﾗﾝﾂﾌｪﾙ･ﾃﾞｨﾅﾝﾄﾞ大公は暗殺される事となる。ｶﾓｼｶの時と同じように銃で撃ち殺されたのだ。これが後に言う「サラエボ事件」である（第一次世界大戦の発端）。ｶﾓｼｶの呪いだそうだ（おいおい！ｶﾓｼｶの所為かよ･･･）。 まぁこんな大それた名前を平然と使用できるのも彼らの器量といえるだろう。60年代～70年代ｶﾞﾚｰｼﾞﾛｯｸにﾃﾞｨｽｺﾐｭｰｼﾞｯｸのﾃｲｽﾄを加えるUKのｶﾞﾚｰｼﾞﾘｳﾞｧｲｳﾞｧﾙはここ日本でもかなり流行った。彼らもその洗礼をバッシバシ受けていることがこのｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ内の楽曲「Do you want to」で分かる。 殆どのｱｰﾃｨｽﾄに言える事だが、３ｒｄアルバムって楽曲クオリティが低迷しやすい時期なんだが、ﾌｪﾙﾃﾞｨﾅﾝﾄﾞの連中はよくやっていると思う。 ｶﾞﾚｰｼﾞ然としているし、ﾃﾞｨｽｺ然としている。良くも悪くもSolidだな！ ﾎﾟﾋﾟｭﾗﾘﾃｨの高さには脱帽だ。

    前作よりも大きくスケールアップし、メジャー感たっぷり。重厚になった音づくりと、しきりに繰りされる歌メロは、気分を高揚させ煽りまくる。ただ少々くどく、胃もたれ起こす。そこで⑦⑫のようなビートルズ調の曲が効いてくる。1stほど聴いてはいないが、非常に良くできたアルバム。

    フランツの3枚のアルバムはどれも良い!そしてこの2ndは彼らのポップ･ポテンシャルが全開に炸裂してます!ブドーカンでのライヴも最高でした。
