92年の結成より一貫して「1968～72年のサウンドを現代に蘇らせる」ことを指針に、激しいライブ、徹底的にこだわったレコーディングを行ってきた彼ら。今作は78分強24曲にわたる重厚なアルバム。ライブマナーにのっとり、ほぼ切れ目なく演奏され、演奏の合図や口頭で伝えられて構成されていき、エキサイティングな大団円を迎えます。冒頭と最後に聞かれるMCは、Heavy FUnk SystemからDJ Pinch、そしてロンドンのみならず世界のファンク・シーンを牽引するDJケブダージ！「Soulful Strut(a.k.a.Am I The Same Girl）」「Theme From Shaft」などの名曲のカバーも収録！
