"Mush Up(マッシュアップ）"とは、DJのリミックスのテクニックの1つで、元々存在する楽曲同士を合わせて別の曲を作るという手法。
今回のシングルでは、Rip Slymeの「Funkastic」と布袋寅泰の「Battle Without Honor Or Humanity」(映画Kill Billのテーマ曲）を元に、人気DJの福富幸宏がMixと編集を担当。さらに本楽曲のために布袋自身のギターとRip Slymeのフェイクが新たに加えられてます。メジャーアーティストによるこのような企画は日本初となっており、曲中に元ネタを探したりするのも楽しい！
