メンバーがリリ−スにはあまり乗り気ではなかった99年の『Recycle Greatest Hits Of Spitz』（2006年1月末で製造中止となります）。それに対して今作は、”メンバー公認”と太鼓判を押しているのは、この全30曲というヴォリューム感と、節目の年に彼らのこれまでの業績をまとめてみようと気持ちによるものか。タイトルも”Recycle”から”Cycle”へ。2枚の作品には、デビュー曲「ヒバリのこころ」から最新シングル「春の歌」まで、全シングルのタイトル曲30曲を年代順に収録。 また、シングルの全オリジナル・ジャケットをカラーで掲載。さらに歴代のアーティスト写真も多数ちりばめたブックレット付き！
こちらの『1991-1997』盤には、デビュー曲「ヒバリのこころ」から1997年1月にリリースした「スカーレット」までを年代順に収録。初期の初々しいサウンドから、誰もが知っているスーパーヒットの数々まで、スピッツの魅力の原点がつまった必聴盤です。

ついに出たｽﾋﾟｯﾂ公認のﾍﾞｽﾄ｡初期の方のこちらは是非聴いて頂きたい!『RECYCLE Greatest Hits of SPITZ』の収録曲以外だと､｢ﾋﾊﾞﾘのこころ｣,｢夏の魔物｣,｢裸のままで｣あたりが良いでしょう｡｢夏の魔物｣なんかは歌詞がかなり意味深で…｡ ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑだったら…｢ｱﾊﾟｰﾄ｣,｢不死身のﾋﾞｰﾅｽ｣,｢ﾄﾝﾋﾞ飛べなかった｣,｢ﾊﾁﾐﾂ｣など!!ん〜‥はっきり言ってﾍﾞｽﾄは作るもの､これはｽﾋﾟｯﾂには特に言えると思う｡だから､ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ･ｺﾚｸｼｮﾝくらいのｶﾃｺﾞﾘで発売するのが､賛否両論あれど､納得できる出し方かなと思う!0 people agree with this review
