確かFather FigureのB面やったStevie Wonderのカバー「they won’t go when I go」(live version)が収録されないんすか...Monkeyの7”ch versionは素直に嬉しいすけど、残念。I Want Your SexにしたってPart 1だけを独立させた本来のversionもほしいし（サントラBeverly Hills Cop IIにしか入ってないはず）、Part 1～3をノンストップでまとめた12”ch versionも入れてしかるべきでしょうよ。せっかくの機会にここまで出し惜しみしてちゃあ...がっかり！他のソロ作やワム！の各アルバムも早よリマスターせえよ！働け！ジョージ。

ジョージのソロアルバム第１作目。セカンドアルバム以降は売れ線ソングではなく、自己表現の追求に走った感がありますが、このファーストアルバムは良い意味でPOPでファンキーで耳に馴染むヒットソングの宝箱です。この名盤が何故今までリマスターされていなかったのか不思議でなりませんが、様々な形式で発売されるので、国内盤、輸入盤を比較検討して自分にあったものを選んで貰いたいと思います。おそらく買って損はしないアルバムです。カミングアウトした今も、偏見でなく彼のシンガーソングライターとしての実力に目を向けて欲しいです。これからの活躍に期待すいつつあらためてファーストアルバムに耳を傾けます。

ロック史に燦然と輝く名盤だと思う。 Wham!時代にも名曲を作っていたジョージであったが、このアルバムを聴くまでの私のイメージは「ジャリタレ」「アイドル歌手」。つまり、カジャグーグーとかGIオレンジなどと同じカテゴリーであったわけです。そんなイメージをこのアルバムが見事に壊してくれました。全体的にソウルフルなムードと適度なスピード感または緊張感で聴く者を捕えて離しません。あれから20年余・・・ジョージは愚かしいスキャンダルに塗れ、残念ながら第一線からリタイヤした形になっています。早く目覚めてトップシーンに返り咲いてほしい。才能豊かな人ですし、まだ挽回のチャンスはあるでしょう。
